Salary: AUD110000 - AUD110000 per annum

Permanent, full time role- $90-120k

New opportunity for an experienced Bid/estimating professional to join a well-respected industry leader. You will be a confident, motivated individual who is looking to take ownership of coordinating quotes, tenders and EOIs. You will be creating engineering solutions for a wide client base Australia wide by managing the bid process from start to finish.  This business offer a niche solution within building services and have a solid reputation in the industry based on their iconic products and repeated successful delivery. They are an SME who are regarded as the leader in their field, this role is pivotal to continued growth and success and offers the right individual an unique opportunity to progress internally. They operate a genuine flat hierarchy and you have the backing and support of the senior executive team and a potential opportunity for this role to morph and develop further.  


Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee and take responsibility for all bids, expressions of interest and quotations from end-to-end
  • Coordinate with the business on contributions to the bid response
  • Manage time-lines, expectations and delivery with stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Contribute and influence key business growth strategy
  • Work closely with senior executives on how to best position the business to ensure pitch to win rates remain high

Key Skills/Experience required:

  • Advanced user of MS office and Excel
  • High degree of commercial acumen  
  • Exceptional attention to detail, written skills and previous experience at influencing and negotiating
  • A minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role, ideally within building services/manufacturing/construction/engineering
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels-in this role you have the unique opportunity to work with everyone in the business
  • Self-motivated- this role is standalone so you must be capable and confident to manage your own workloads, prioritise your time and have a great deal of initiative
