Cell Line Development Scientist

Your mission:


You will develop, optimize, and perform mammalian cell culture processes and interacting with the Cell Line Service teams to support client projects

Your responsibilities:

  • Supervise and perform laboratory experiments in support of upstream process development. This entails set-up, operation, and associated analysis of mammalian cell culture processes
  • Lead in maintaining and monitoring mammalian cell culture processes development expert
  • Manage resource within the upstream function, which includes mentoring, coaching and ensure team is achieving deliverables
  • Maintain an upstream cell culture processes specific project plan, including raw materials and equipment availability, in preparation of laboratory and pilot- scale runs.
  • Proactively identify partnership opportunities
  • Generate new ideas for our platform improvement
  • Apply and design experiments
  • Presentation of innovative results at congresses and internally
  • Report scientific results to the CSO
  • Participate and help for the Quality Management System implementation
  • Support the redaction of patent and scientific communication
  • Support the marketing and BD teams for scientific questions



Your profile:

  • PhD degree in Life Sciences
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in USP within pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
  • Experience in working with mammalian cell
  • Experience in scientific project development and data analysis
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Solid organizational, management, administrative and human relations skills and a style which exhibits leadership, collaboration, and teamwork
  • Patent and scientific article writing experience is a plus
  • Experience working with data generated by Next Generation Sequencing methods would be an advantage
  • Fluent in English and French is a plus
