Overview

Team24 are working with one of the largest outsourcing partners in the UK. They are in partnership with the British Army. These roles are located at the National Recruitment Centre for the British Army.

We are sourcing several Primary Health Care Records Practitioners. You could be a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist registration. Training in recruitment medicals is provided but experience in this area is a plus.

The positions provide scrutiny of pre-entry medicals of candidates so your professional background will be challenged in a new way. Reporting to Medical Admin Team Leader you will show your audit and appraisal skills developed through five years of post-registration.

What’s involved?

Instrumental in the assessment process of candidates, using your clinical skills to compare GP surgery notes with the medical policy matrix used for Army joiners. By following policy guidance and through medical scrutiny you will contribute in this decision-making role.

Communicating effectively across several teams in a multi-disciplinary environment. You will have a talent for managing documentation, reporting and adhering to service level agreements plus following NMC/ HCPC Guidelines always. The environment is moving towards paperless and your IT skills should reflect this.

You should be a self-motivated team player and able to work on your own initiative.

Your skills

  • Co-operating with and respecting colleagues to create a positive working culture.
  • Listening, expressing and articulating information effectively.
  • Achieving and optimising results using SMART processes.
  • Qualified Healthcare Professional with at least 5 years’ experience post NMC/HCPC registration.
  • Current NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise workload.
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative as well as part of as a team.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer literacy.
