This is an exciting opportunity for the successful General Bodyshop Operatives - Trim to work with a long-established, prestige automotive retailer based on the outskirts of Doncaster, due to the company experiencing a period of organic growth they are looking to add to the existing team where duties will include:

• To ensure that all health and safety rules and legislation are adhered to and all health and safety concerns are escalated to management immediately
• To ensure all repairs are documented to meet with customer repair standards, company policy, and quality standards
• To de-trim and trim all vehicles pre and post paint and other repairs at all levels following BMW work instructions   
• Minor polish work to vehicles post paintwork as required
• Fit decals as required
• Carry out warranty repairs in accordance with BMW warranty policy and procedures.        
• To ensure all repairs are carried out efficiently and with minimum cost of time and materials, to meet current BMW repair standards.
• To embrace and learn new methods and techniques as required and put into practice
• To be flexible on a day-to-day basis of actual duties required for the day                      
• Other tasks as directed by the management team
• Comply with appropriate working time legislation
• To maintain a clean and tidy working environment                                                                       
• To undergo any training required                                                                                                               
• To correctly clock all jobs on the workshop system in place at the time
• Any other tasks as reasonably directed by the management team to provide the required service to the customer within your capabilities

It is expected that the successful General Bodyshop Operatives - Trim will have experience of working in an automotive Bodyshop role or similar, have a strong understanding of all trimming, spray paint, prepping and basic repair techniques with intermediate knowledge, hold a full and clean UK licence and be confident in managing multiple priorities whilst working with accuracy and with own initiative.
