Salary: GBP33280 - GBP33280 per annum

Major Recruitment are recruiting for a Night shift Supervisor on behalf of our client who are the UKs leading independant frozen seafood supplier based on Omega, Warrington

Job Description

You will be responsible for effectively carrying out all the required functions once trained to do so.

  • Full responsibility of co-ordinating the operators per shift
  • Absence/Time management
  • Temp workers allocation and ordering
  • Warehouse compliance
  • MHE/FLT management
  • Co-ordinations of the pick operations
  • Co-ordinations of the loading and unloading operations
  • Co-ordination of the training element for your shift
  • HSE Inspections internal with support from Depot Manager and HSE Manager
  • Ensuring all documentation is controlled in a correct manner
  • Ensure picking is done on a timely manner

All work must be carried out in a timely fashion to a high standard of accuracy.

Hours of Work

We offer a excellent shift pattern so suit that work life balance

Sunday to Thursday - 2pm to 10pm

Salary

£33,280.00

Requirements

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a supervisor/ management role within a warehouse operation
  • Health & Safety IOSH is an advantage
  • FLT Licenses advantage, Counterbalance, Reach, VNA
  • Knowledge of WMS Systems advantage
  • In-House FLT instructor is advantage
  • Advanced numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to work weekends due to shift patterns
  • Proven experience of communicating effectively whilst building effective relationships
  • Must be able to demonstrate their ability to work towards targets set by depot manager
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to communicate with all levels of staff including management, both verbally and writing
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to work under their own initiative and with a team
  • Must have a flexible and adaptable approach with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Must be honest and trustworthy with a positive response to adapting to the needs of the business
  • Must accept accountability and be comfortable working in an ever changing, and customer driven environment to delivery customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of working towards BRC accreditation
  • Working within a Bonded Warehouse is an advantage
