Greenwell Gleeson are working with an exciting and long-established business in the city centre to recruit a Financial Controller.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to work closely with the Finance Director and wider business to impact business performance and show where finance can add value.
The Role
• Deliver month end, period end and year end annual accounts inline with UK accounting
standards.
• Prepare reports and present findings to senior management team.
• Manage annual budget, quarterly forecast and provide recommendations.
• Cashflow management – working closely with the Finance Director to eliminate risks
and maximise opportunities.
• Oversee VAT, tax reporting and audit.
The Candidate
• ACA/ACCA Qualified with at least 2 years post-qualified experience.
• Strong working knowledge of FRS and UK Accounting standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience of managing a team or desire to do so.
The successful candidate will become part of an established finance function and will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of the company over the next 3-5 years.
