An opportunity has arisen for a Web Developer to work with one of the leading employers headquartered in Leeds. You will join the in-house Creative team. It’s a fast paced, high volume environment with a strong team ethic where everyone works towards the same shared goals.
Duties of the Web Developer
• Create optimised promotional web graphics for the website across the responsive site (desktop, mobile & tablet) & Apps in accordance with best practice guidelines
• Publish accurate graphics to the site in line with online activity plan or supplier funding plan
• Quality checking & proof reading as required
• Ensure that activity & media is delivered on site – on time, accurately & on brand
• Work with Lead Web Designer to challenge briefs where required, drive innovation through testing & analyse creative performance
Experience & skills required for the Web Developer
• A design related qualification post GCSE level
• Evidence of producing web graphics across devices
• Proven ability to use Photoshop & Illustrator
• Proven ability to hand code HTML
• Some knowledge of CSS
• Evidence of using a Content Management System (CMS)
• Demonstrable knowledge of designing for web standards & browsers
• Some UX knowledge
• Attention to detail
