We're looking for a confident, organised and people-focused individual to join a busy and supportive education team during one of their busiest periods of the year.

 

This role plays a key part in supporting students as they begin their apprenticeship journey, helping to create a positive and professional experience from day one. You'll be welcoming students, coordinating assessments, assisting with enrolments and providing essential administrative support to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Some days you may be supporting just a handful of students, while on others you could be welcoming over 100 people through the doors. It's a varied role that would suit someone who enjoys working with people, building relationships and keeping organised in a fast-paced environment.

 

You'll be joining a friendly, collaborative team where support is always available, making it a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys customer-facing work and wants to gain experience within education and training.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

 

Student Support & Customer Service

  • Acting as a first point of contact for students attending the centre
  • Providing a professional and welcoming experience for all visitors
  • Responding to student enquiries via email and occasional telephone calls

 

Exam & Apprenticeship Administration

  • Assisting with the scheduling and coordination of examinations
  • Invigilating exams and ensuring procedures are followed
  • Helping enrol students onto apprenticeship programmes

 

Operations & Administration

  • Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
  • Supporting the production of student progress reports
  • Managing general administrative tasks and document processing

 

What We’re Looking For

 

  • Previous administration or customer service experience
  • Strong face-to-face communication skills
  • Confidence interacting with large groups of people
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using IT systems and Microsoft Office

 

Nice to Have

 

  • Experience within education, training or apprenticeships
  • Previous exam invigilation or administration experience
  • Experience working in a busy customer facing environment
