Gi Group Recruitment are actively recruiting for Manufacturing Associates for our client in Castlebar County Mayo. Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in the refinement of stainless steel wires through precision wire drawing techniques. Their products play a critical role in the medical device industry, meeting the highest standards of quality and performance.
The role involves a continental shift pattern which consists of:
- 2 X 12 Hour Day Shifts
- 2 X 12 Hour Night Shifts
- 4 X Days Off

Duties:
- Manufacture of stainless-steel wire in compliance with required quality standards.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain accurate documentation.
- Conduct testing and evaluation of in-process materials to ensure suitability for final production

Requirements for Role:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Familiarity with wire drawing or metalworking processes is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to perform basic calculations and accurately follow written instructions
- Strong capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisor.
