Registered Manager - Children’s Social Care (LD & EBD Homes)
Location: Liverpool (Knowsley)
Salary: up to £65,000 per annum depending on experience

Brook Street Social Care are supporting a very well established residential childcare provider who are recruiting for a Registered Manager to be part of the team in one of their four homes in Knowsley.

Each home is two-bedded, with two services for Learning Disabilities (LD) and two services for Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

We’re hiring a Registered Manager who can lead with care, calm and credibility-making sure every day delivers safety, stability and the best possible outcomes for children.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the day-to-day running of a residential children’s home, ensuring high standards of care
• Provide strong, consistent management to support staff to deliver person-centred support
• Oversee safe practice and the overall well-being of children in your homes
• Maintain clear accountability for service quality, routines and positive behaviour support
• Build constructive relationships with children, families and key stakeholders to support planning and progress
• Ensure the home operates in line with expectations and safeguarding-minded practice

What you’ll bring:

• Experience in a social care leadership or management role, with the ability to motivate a team
• Confidence working with children and young people who may have LD and/or EBD needs
• A strong understanding of safeguarding, safety and professional standards
• Good communication skills-able to lead, listen and respond thoughtfully
• The ability to stay organised, make sound decisions and provide calm direction when it matters
• A genuinely caring approach that supports dignity, belonging and growth
