Are you a System Protection Engineer with a background in power generation or transmission looking to take the next step in your career?
On offer is a senior opportunity within a well-respected power company, where you’ll play a vital role in both day-to-day protection responsibilities and a major greenfield power plant project.
This organization is a key player in Florida’s power market and is actively expanding its footprint with new generation assets.
In this role, you will lead the design and analysis of protection schemes and ensure system integrity across both new and existing plants. You’ll work within a close-knit team and contribute directly to the success of a major power plant project.
This role would suit an experienced system protection engineer with a passion for complex electrical protection design in the power generation and transmission space.
The Role:
- Design and review protection systems for generation and transmission assets
- Lead fault analysis, relay settings, and technical documentation
- Support procurement and equipment specifications for new plant build-outs
The Candidate:
- Electrical Engineering Degree
- Experience in system protection engineering within the power generation space
- Deep understanding of relay settings, fault analysis, and transmission/generation protection systems
