The Best Connection is looking for hardworking, reliable and motivated Food Production Operatives to join our well established client based in Croydon.

 

The role:

As a Food Production Operative, you will work as part of our production team, helping to prepare and process fresh food products.

 

Hours:

  • Sunday to Friday - you will be put on a rota so you won't have to work every Sunday.
  • 9am to 5pm

Pay:

  • £12.71 per hour

 

Responsibilities of the Food Production Operative:

  • Working on production lines.
  • Cutting and preparing food.
  • Loading fresh food onto production machinery.
  • Handling fresh food carefully and hygienically.
  • Maintaining high standards of food quality.
  • Keeping food waste to an absolute minimum.
  • Following all food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
  • Keeping your workstation clean and organised.
  • Working efficiently as part of a team.
  • Helping other areas of production when your own section is quiet.
  • Using initiative to identify where support is needed.
  • Following instructions and learning new processes.

Please be aware that this is a cold food production environment, with temperatures generally between 2°C and 7°C.

 

Candidates should be comfortable working in these conditions and should be prepared to wear suitable layers, in accordance with our hygiene and PPE requirements.
