Class 2 Driver

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Driver to join a growing and successful company. This is a physically demanding role involving a mixture of physical cage work multi-drop deliveries to shops and trunking work, offering consistent hours and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

Working Pattern

• Monday to Sunday rota
• 42 hours per week
• This role operates on a 4-week rotating shift pattern:
  • Weeks 1 & 2: Trunking position
  • Weeks 1 & 2: Multi-drop store deliveries across local and Scottish areas
• Hours/ working days will vary between day shifts and night shifts depending on which week of the rota you are working
• Start and finish times will vary depending on the route and assigned duties

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries to retail shops
• Trunking runs as required
• Loading and unloading goods
• Manual handling and heavy lifting
• Physical Cage work
• Driving Class 2 vehicles safely and professionally
• Completing all relevant paperwork and vehicle checks
• Night out required on Scotland run

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence
• Valid CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 2 years' Class 2 driving experience
• Must be 25 years old or over
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Able to undertake a physical, hands-on role
