Join our Groupe CAT UK team as we develop and build our new flagship technical centre based at Rockingham Logistics Hub in Corby, where we will be providing technical services, finished vehicle logistics, fleet and compound management services to automotive manufacturers and fleet operators.

RMS are the HR partner of Groupe CAT UK and have 15 successful years working together.  We have an exciting opportunity for Vehicle Preppers / Polishers to join a newly formed team within Groupe CAT UK.

The purpose of this role is to support the Compound in all administrative tasks, which will include data entry, creating and updating spreadsheets, using the systems to resolve queries

Flexibility in workin hours may be required, however the core hours will be either 7am - 3pm / 8am - 4pm, however additional hours may be required.

Key Responsibilities include

  • To ensure the in house system is maintained at all times regarding vehicle status
  • Monitor and input vehicle arrivals onto the system and maintain vehicles status's
  • Print labels and issue to the Compound Team for vehicles to be issued
  • Communicates with Compound Teams to ensure correct documentation reaches the correct vehicles
  • Check the internal system for error status report and investigates and provides updates on resolution
  • Ensure upon vehicle despatch the in house system is updated accordingly
  • Provide administrative support to departments and the Compound Manager
  • Produce stats on a daily / weekly / monthly basis as requested

Key Skills

  • Previous experience of Microsoft office packages 
  • Ability to work with in house computer systems
  • Excellent Communication Skills via e-mail, telephone and radio
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to strict deadlines
