DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Complete general ledger operations
- Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Assist with reviewing all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Keep track of all payments and expenditures
- Communicate with related banks
- Assist with preparation of monthly cash flow forecast
- Assist with monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial report
- Assist with year-end closings
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when required
- Assist with other accounting and financial issues
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
- Contract Duration: 1 year, extendable
- Work Schedule: 5 Days a Week, 8 Hours a Day
- Type of assignment : Contract hire
- Status: Single Preferred
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience of work in the UAE
- 5+ years’ related experience
- Knowledge of accounting/finance principles & practices and financial reporting
- Proficient with accounting software
- Proficient with MS Office Software packages (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook Express, Adobe)
- Knowledge of local, state and federal laws regarding accounting, finances and taxation
- Good written and spoken English language skills
