Installation Supervisor (Pipeline/umbilical) (JO013426) Doha, Qatar
- Supervise the EPIC Contractors during the execution of all activities for pipelines and umbilicals at offshore site.
- Participate in reviewing relevant offshore installation procedures.
- Co-ordinate mobilization of contractor’s marine spreads on site.
- Supervise and approve installation activities and co-ordinate various aspects of project installation including inspections, working drawings from contractors, and processing documentation as required.
- Sign work permits on behalf of THE COMPANY and ensure contractors compliance
- Participate in development of as-built drawings/documentation.
- Prepare Punch list for finished work prior to hand over to THE COMPANY by contractorby paying special attention to all project facilities including Quality checks.
- Works closely with other THE COMPANY related personnel
- Review and sign on the Daily Progress Report (DPR) from contractor
- Report to THE COMPANY Senior Installation Supervisor on main issues, events at site, progress reporting, trends and recommendation for improvement.
- Accountable for enforcing THE COMPANY safety standards on the work site.
- Liaise and report with the QC Inspector on quality related matters.
- Liaise with the HSE Supervisor on safety related matters.
- Communicate and liaise with other THE COMPANY departments such as PS3 and THE COMPANY marine in order to prevent any unnecessary interfaces during offshore installation works in the field.
