Hiring CNC Machinists and Programmers! (1001) Austin, Texas

Salary: USD16 - USD26 per hour

We are looking to hire 5 CNC Machinists and Programmers with some of the following skills and experiences:

Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameter.

Setup and operate: Fadal 60/30 With 5th axis, Hwacheon 30/16 with Fanuc controller, Okuma LB15 with live tooling, Hurco Knee Mill and various other manual & CNC equipment.

Conceptual Skills, Process Improvement, Verbal Communication, Functional and Technical Skills, Controls and Instrumentation, Supply Management, Tooling, Coordination, Inventory Control, Attention to Detail, Judgment.

Assess risk and estimated time in the manufacturing of parts. Obtain bids for material and outside services.  Evaluate machine tool requirements.

Work with a small sales team that significantly diversified and grew business consistently since 2008.

Design work instructions (job routers) based on the physical requirements of new manufactured parts.

Assist in the procurement of customer specified obsolete components.

Worked with Management and Quality Control on a nonconforming material review board to evaluate cause of scrap and designed measures to reduce/eliminate future occurrences.

Serve on a continuous improvement team designed to decrease cost and improve efficiency through creative ideas and collective knowledge.

Serve as an internal auditor insuring compliance to the internal QSM and ISO 9001:2000, 13485 & AS9100.
