We are currently looking for a team I&C Maintenance Procedure Writer to work in UAE, under the following terms and conditions:

Job Location : United Arab Emirates
Contract Duration : 1 year renewable
Work Schedule : Resident; 4 days per week and 38 working hours per week
Accommodation : Provided Single Accommodation. All personnel are being accommodated at ADNOC and ADEWA facilities in Ruwais which is around 1 hour drive by company bus. This is not a site/camp accommodation. It is like a semi-furnished studio flat.
Transportation : There is a company bus that can take the Consultant to and from site and also to Abu Dhabi downtown on weekends
Meals : Provided at the accommodation and at the project site.
Medical Coverage : Provided by MPH Assystem
House Keeping : Provided at the accommodation for free
Laundry Service : Provided at the accommodation for free.
Mob/Demob Tickets : Provided by MPH Assystem in economy class
Visa : Provided by MPH Assystem
Bonus : Not provided
Living Allowance : Not provided
Salary : Paid on a monthly basis to a bank account in the UAE. MPH Assystem will assist you with the bank account opening.
Vacation : 16 working days per year but not paid
Vacation Flight tickets : Can be provided
Duties and Responsibilities;
Creation of initial maintenance procedures and work instructions using vendor manuals, industry procedures or procedures supplied by other experts as required by the functions in line with internationally accepted standards. Develop the required HuP Technical work instructions to support execution of event free maintenance.
Assess the gaps identified by the Maintenance Basis and develop the required working procedures.
Processing of Procedure Change Requests (PCRs) generated by the functions. These Procedure Change Requests are generated on a daily basis by the functions and work is allocated by the procedure controller/supervisor on a daily basis.
Reformatting of existing maintenance procedures in accordance with the client's Administrative Writers Guide and Technical Writers Guide requirements. These time-lines are determined by Management and the Function in line with critical milestones for the first unit fuel load and Substantial Completion Date.
Perform technical administrative activities as assigned by Site Maintenance Managers..
The contracted Maintenance procedure writers are fully integrated into the Nawah Procedures and Records Management function and systems and makes a large contribution in decreasing the procedure workload of the Function.
Possible secondment to other departments as required, in line with skills and procedure writing requirements.
Maintenance Procedure Writers/Reviewers will be required amongst other to develop, update, technically verify, by desktop, simulator and plant walk down and format existing and new Maintenance procedures:
Validate Maintenance Procedures through a review of the background documents, vendor manuals, and drawings as assigned.
Support revision of maintenance procedures.
Review procedures developed by other departments that may have an impact on Maintenance.
Perform technical review of maintenance procedures against Operating Technical Specifications, design specifications, license requirements and documents and guidelines as assigned.
Verification and validation of procedures. This task will include plant walkdowns and require physical fitness to complete.
