Terms and conditions:
Job Location : Barakah Site (around 2.5 hours’ drive from Abu Dhabi downtown)
Contract Duration : 1 year (Renewable)
Work Schedule : Resident; 4 days per week and 38 working hours per week
Number of working hours per year : 1,824 hours
Accommodation : Provided Single Accommodation. All personnel are being accommodated at ADNOC and ADEWA facilities in Ruwais which is around 1 hour drive by company bus. This is not a site/camp accommodation. It is like a hotel room.
Transportation : There is a company bus that can take the Consultant to and from site and also to Abu Dhabi downtown on weekends
Meals : Provided at the accommodation and at the project site.
Medical Coverage : Provided by MPH Assystem
House Keeping : Provided at the accommodation for free
Laundry Service : Provided at the accommodation for free.
Mob/Demob Tickets : Provided by MPH Assystem in economy class
Visa : Provided by MPH Assystem
Salary : Paid on hourly basis at the end of each month to a bank account in the UAE. MPH Assystem will assist you with the bank account opening.
Vacation Flight tickets : Provided
The requirements is to get knowledgeable/experienced people on the following technology to be able to troubleshoot system on site and implement modification on the technology.
The technology involved in the I&C system are :
- Emerson Ovation supervision and OCR400 controllers in general with a specific need on network and datalinks
- ABB AC160 Platform including: PM646 Controller, I/O Modules: DI621, DO620, AI688, AO650, AF100 and HSL communication networks
- National Instruments HW/SW including : LabView SW package, NI DAQ modules and equipment -Generic I&C experience, Supported equipment includes Bentley Nevada speed sensors, Canberra/Mirion Radiation detection equipment , PLC/PID controllers, Control console switches and indicators, Signal conditioning and conversion equipment (i.e. 4-20ma to 0-10V)
- Generic PC experience including: Windows Server administration, Unix-like operating system familiarity, - Networking concepts including VLANs, Spanning Tree Protocol, routing/switching, etc, Familiar with Cisco network equipment including IOS familiarity
- Basic Electrical/Control System Engineering skills,
- Familiar with sensor/transmitter types, Understanding of common process measurement techniques (i.e. convert DP to flow measurement, etc), Understanding of conversion coefficients for converting electrical signals to engineering units, Familiar with basic M&TE (Digital Multi meter, Source calibrator, oscilloscope, etc)
