Qualified and experienced in the type of diving to be undertaken.
IMCA recognised certification as Diving Supervisor for Air and/or Saturation Diving.
Skills: Candidate should have good communication skills and professional approach in dealing
with contractors/asset holders and should be in a position to provide constructive
support during execution of offshore works.
10 years minimum experience in offshore oil and gas Diving & ROV operations, with working
knowledge and experience on DP Dive support vessels / installation barges as Client
representative, Diving Superintendent and/or Dive Supervisor.
Preference will be given to persons with experience in offshore installation of pipelay / cable
installation and ROV exposure.
Exposure to survey and installation methodology will be an advantage.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
To function as the QP Dive Rep to check close-outs of dive system non-conformances
following IMCA DESIGN audits carried out by nominated QP MRO representative.
To function as QP Rep for co-ordinating dive activities connected with offshore cable
lay/burial/survey activities using ROV or divers on contractor marine spread.
To work closely with other QP representatives on the marine spread for ensuring safe
execution of the offshore work within QP project specifications.
To ensure the works are executed as per approved method statements and records are
maintained for records.
To supervise and approve offshore activities and co-ordinate various aspects of project
construction including inspections, and processing documentation as required based on
approved method statements/procedures.
To prepare daily report of activities and inform QP/asset holders (as per approved
distribution matrix) of the progress/constraints and look-ahead.
To ensure smooth coordination with other asset holders for working to their
approved/agreed PTW to ensure effective utilization of mobilized marine spread.
To functionally report to the QP Snr Operations Supervisor (Diveboats) MRO/21,
providing updates (including but not limited to) details for the Mutual Aid sheet, diving
emergency drills, diving incidents.
