Terms and Conditions:
Job Location : Barakah (around 300 KMs from Abu Dhabi downtown.)
Contract Duration : 15 Months (with possible extension)
Work Schedule : Resident; 4 days per week, a standard working hours of 38 hours per week and a possibility to work for 50 hours per week
Accommodation : Provided Single Accommodation. All personnel are being accommodated at ADNOC and ADEWA facilities in Ruwais which is around 1 hour drive by company bus. This is not a site/camp accommodation. It is like a semi-finished studio flat.
Transportation : There is a company bus that can take the Consultant to and from site to Abu Dhabi downtown on weekends
Meals : Provided at the site (very good)
Medical Coverage : Provided by MPH for self and family (if required)
Mob/Demob Tickets : Provided by MPH in economy class for self and family (if required).
Salary : Paid by MPH monthly and lump-sum (tax free)
Visa : Provided by MPH for self and family (if required)
Bonus : Not provided
Living Allowance : Not provided
Annual leave : 16 working days per year provided
Vacation flight ticket : Can be provided
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related science (or equivalent combination of education and work experience), i.e., a Reactor Operator (RO) with 7 years+ of related work experience or a Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) with 4 years+ of related work experience is equivalent to a BS degree in Engineering or scientific discipline
- Have at least 5 years of Light Water Pressurized Water Reactor (LWPWR) Nuclear Power Plant experience – Prefer Combustion Engineering based plant design. Prefer to have at least 10 years of LWPWR Nuclear Power Plant.
- Holds or have held a Reactor Operator (RO) for at least 7 years or Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license for at least 5 years
- At least 4 years of advanced print reading skills (electrical, mechanical, P&ID, logic and control) to be able to accurately understand plant drawings so as to verify and validate procedure information based on design and construction drawings
- 5 years at a position that required Operations Procedure Writing or Operations Procedure use. Prefer to have least 10 years at a position that required Procedure Writing or Operations Procedure use.
- Procedure Reviewers must be able to understand vendor manuals from a technical perspective to apply that knowledge to Operations Procedure content and to validate or recommend technical information be added to Operations Procedures to ensure clear, concise and accurate content
- Procedure Reviewers must understand the concept of procedure use and adherence and its application to Operation Procedures
- Procedure Reviewers must meet the intent and requirements of Nawah DCM-PRC-0021, Station Qualified Reviewer
- Ability to obtain the required BNPP site access to perform work at Barakah site (CICPA badge)
- Ability to obtain Export Control Information (ECI) access
- Full written and spoken English fluency is required for procedure understanding, print reading, and interfacing with Operations department and other departments to complete the task
