Maintenance Project Coordinators (Nuclear) (J038192) Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Terms and conditions:

Job Location                                                  : Barakah Site (around 2.5 hours’ drive from Abu Dhabi downtown)

Contract Duration                                        : 2 years renewable

Work Schedule                                             : Resident; 4 days per week and 38 working hours per week

Accommodation                                           : Provided Single Accommodation. All personnel are being accommodated at ADNOC and ADEWA facilities in Ruwais which is around 1 hour drive by company bus. This is not a site/camp accommodation. It is like a semi-furnished studio flat.

Transportation                                             : There is a company bus that can take the Consultant to and from site and also to Abu Dhabi downtown on weekends

Meals                                                             : Provided at the accommodation and at the project site.

Medical Coverage                                        : Provided by MPH Assystem

House Keeping                                             : Provided at the accommodation for free

Laundry Service                                            : Provided at the accommodation for free.

Mob/Demob Tickets                                    : Provided by MPH Assystem in economy class         

Visa                                                                 : Provided by MPH Assystem

Over-time                                                      : Not provided – There is no overtime work required as of now but when the need arises in the future then the rate will be discussed/negotiated.

Bonus                                                             : Not provided

Living Allowance                                          : Not provided

Salary                                                             : Paid on a monthly basis to a bank account in the UAE. MPH Assystem will assist you with the bank account opening.

Vacation                                                        : 4 weeks per year but they will not be paid.  

Vacation Flight tickets                                 : Can be provided

Minimum Qualification

  • Suitable Diploma or ideally Bachelor’s Degree – Technical/Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3 Years relevant Project Management and Contracts experience.
  • Supplier to provide copy of degree translated in English if required.

Professional Certification

  • Project/Program Management qualification desirable.

Work Experience

  • 10 Years’ suitable experience in the engineering and energy industry, 3 years of which must be in project and contracts management. Nuclear experience desirable but not essential.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in English
  • Excellent MS Office Skills with an emphasis on MS Excel
  • Planning and scheduling experience (e.g. Primavera, MS Projects)
  • SAP systems experience

Roles and Responsibilities

  • The timely execution of research, planning and implementation phases of projects.
  • Establish the required interfaces with the various Site and Plant organizations to facilitate the collation of various requirements and information to support the development and implementation of the maintenance agreements.
  • Coordinate meetings, issue meeting notes, follow-up actions, maintain task list, maintain project plan, issue periodic reports, maintain performance indicators, develop budget forecast, etc.
  • Coordinate and develop SoW, issue task orders, process payment certificates, timesheets, claims, and invoices.
  • Assist in delivering project scope, cost, schedule, quality, integration, etc. and be accountable for timely completion of project within time, cost, and quality.
  • Oversee plant project work and walk downs.
  • Assist with the preparation and establishment of support facilities and functions including maintenance workshops, tools & equipment, calibration facilities, etc.
  • Support the development of contract management processes and procedures to ensure the requisite controls and governance.
  • Identify and help manage the risks associated with the establishment and delivery of the various maintenance and related agreements.
  • Work closely with assigned functions, and conduct assessments where appropriate to identify areas for improvements, ensuring improvements and corrective actions are systematically initiated, trended, analyzed and resolved.
  • Raise purchase requisitions (PRs) and service entries (SEN’s), obtain necessary approvals and procure the required goods and services.
  • Contribute to contract and project front-end planning, design, budget forecasting, budget approval, key performance indicators and execution/implementation of the project at BNPP site.
  • Develop and maintain project progress and close out report with KPIs and lessons learnt for Operating Experience.
  • Prepare and support with presentations, documentation management. Tracking relevant contract KPIs and information.
  • Any other relevant work assigned within the department.
