Operations Risk Business Manager (15245539/001) London, England
A Global Investment Firm is looking for an Operational Risk Business Manager to join their London based office.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Board reporting – work with the CRO to draft the CRO Report
• Report to Risk Committees for CRO as required
• Support the production of the CRO’s Annual Status Update presentation
• Co-ordinate and draft the Risk section of the rating agency presentations
• Co-ordinate and draft presentations for other stakeholders as required
• Draft a formal Risk view/provide risk comments comment on seeding requests/ACRs as required
• Co-ordination of Risk Departmental meetings reporting
• Prepare monthly briefing for CRO ahead of attendance at Prudential Group Executive meetings.
• Co-ordinate and draft papers for Group Risk as required.
• Co-ordinate and draft the Risk section of strategic plan
• Co-ordinate Risk projects/briefing notes as required
• Attend and contribute to Corporate Development Forum
• Assist the CRO with the setting of the department’s risk objectives
• Liaise with Risk team heads to monitor progress against risk objectives through the year
The successful candidate is likely to have:
• A background in a similar role
• A background within financial services
• Build good relationships internally and externally
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Effective analytical skills (if applicable)
• Client and delivery focussed
• Good planning and organisational skills
