This individual will be transcribing recorded audio of astronauts living and working in a simulated environment in preparation for future missions. The astronauts will be wearing microphones that are capturing every word they speak throughout their day. The Transcriber will be listening to the recorded audios and transcribing the parts of the audios that fall under the set parameters of the desired information to be collected. This individual will be working under very little supervision so will need to be self-motivated and able to discern between relevant an irrelevant information.

20 hours per week until September. Possible opportunity to work from home.

Required:
-Must be able to type 60wpm+
-Must be able to transcribe while listening to conversational style audio
-Previous data entry experience

Highly Preferred:
-Previous transcribing experience of any kind

Self-starter, Assertive, Flexible with both their schedule and job duties, Intuitive
Working mostly with Scientists who are very focused on their own projects. Will need to be ok with little to no daily direction. Laid back environment.
