My Client, a well-respected company based between Leeds and York, is looking for a Data Migration Developer to join their growing team, £25-30K DOE + bonus and good benefits. Working alongside the Development team you will be responsible for migrating key data from legacy systems to SQL Server 2005 and 2008. A great opportunity for the right candidate!

My client, currently undergoing expansion due to a number of new contract wins, is looking to expand their Technical Team with the addition of a Data Migration Developer. You will have at least 3-5 years experience of SQL Server 2005 / 2008 administration and admin tools and T-SQL, and experience migrating data from legacy systems. Knowledge of other databases such as MySQL, Access and Oracle is useful but not essential. Any knowledge of ASP.Net development (either C# or VB.Net) is beneficial, but not essential, as it is a .Net environment.

You will be responsible for maintaining an SQL Server 2005 / 2008 database and ensuring that data sets are imported and exported from a range of data sources into SQL Server with data kept intact and maintaining integrity. This role is crucial for the business to ensure that their projects are delivered effectively and on time.
