General Laborer – Custom Bus

Shift Options:

Option 1-Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5:00am-5:30pm

Option 2-Thursday 7:00am-3:30pm, Friday and Saturday 5:00am-5:30pm, Sunday 7:00am-3:30pm

Option 3-Friday and Saturday 5:00am-5:30pm, Sunday and Monday 7:00am-3:30pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Much of activity includes holding bus bars overhead while inserting hardware. Must be able to safely operate drill press, band saw, grinders, cutters, and any other required tool needed to perform non-standard installations. Assemble complex configurations of bus bars up to 6 laminations. Must be able to follow all engineering as well as custom designed bus bar diagrams. Ability to think logically to create complex layouts of supporting systems given general rules and guidelines.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a HS Diploma/GED
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics,blue prints, material lists, and other source material.
• Knowledge of Standard Assembly.
• Previous experience in Switchboards Standard Connectors preferred.
• Candidate should be energetic, self-motivated, and possess a good work record.
• Position requires lifting and holding in place assembly parts weighting up to 35 lbs. repeatedly over work period.
• Candidate must be highly motivated and self-directed with ability to work in a team environment.
• Must possess a good work record
