Duties:
Analyze and develop new features for the project
Respect Code rules
Respect time engagement
Make and justify development choices
Adhere to project schedule, strategies, policies and constraints
Skills and experience required:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in development
Strong knowledge of java
Knowledge of JAVA EE architectures, SDLC and OOP Design best practices is a must.
Hands on JavaScript (ideally Angular JS, NodeJS and/or TypeScript).
Must have technical writing experience and ability to produce configuration details
Proactive attitude, able to work in a fast pace environment and integrate with the team
Knowledge of the following is desirable
Web site development (Java, JavaScript, CSS3, HTML 5, Bootstrap, Angular JS, Node JS, JSON REST Web services),
Back end and interface development (Java-EE, Maven),
Big Data and analytics (Kafka, Spark, Cassandra, InfluxDB …)
GIS (ArcGis, Geocortex, GeoEvent)
B.S. degree holder
Certifications in JAVA, Big Data or GIS (ESRI) is preferred
Effective oral and written communication skills
Good command of written and spoken in English
Good command of written and spoken in French is a plus
