Educational Background:
Post-secondary Technologist diploma of Engineering degree – Electrical or Mechanical
Experience Requirements:
PC Skills
Technical skills in Telecom or Security equipment
Analyzing and understanding requirements.
Well-developed verbal skills to interact effectively and professionally
Promoting a harmonious working relationship among group members
Job Role & Responsibilities:
Ensure that the installation of the System is installed correctly and meets the Company’s Quality standards and client satisfaction.
Supervise teams or installation subcontractor for the installation of Telecommunication System based on the installation design and to ensure all applicable standards, quality and security are met.
Performing site surveys and contribute to Site Readiness Reviews
Ensuring that assigned work proceed according to schedule and in accordance with all requirements. This includes revising plans and forecasts as required to accommodate changes in circumstances
Check and receive technical room from civil work. Sign-off room reception report.
Provides technical support for all field activities (work done by Subcontractors) for installation related issues.
Assists post installation checkout (PICO) and T&C activities as required in coordination and cooperation with involved subcontractors
Contributes to the activities of technical specialists from the Company on site to perform integration testing, trouble shooting and commissioning testing.
Implementing designs in accordance with good design practices and applicable standards and guidelines.
Identifying and solve problems in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Ensuring the quality, security and suitability for the purpose of all work performed
Contributes to progress reports and KPI's
