Construction Manager (328980/001) Ghana
Key Responsibilities (But not limited too):
- Structural, mechanical, plate work, piping, electrical and instrumentation construction in the mining field
- Effective co-ordination, management and leadership of the direct construction team (supervisors and foreman)
- Effective compliance and assistance to company and client safety and quality requirements
- Take ownership of, and effectively execute, the construction programme by identifying and managing risk situations, accurate and diligent completion of daily diaries, ensuring delays are managed and/or escalated for commercial action, ensuring proper quality control close-out and handover of areas to client on time, and ensuring the overall project is completed on time
- Be aware of and assist site manager with financial controls
- Assist site manager with recruitment, selection and management of the project team
Key Qualifications (But not limited too):
- Experience and in depth knowledge as a Construction Manager
- Experience in structural, mechanical, plate work, piping, electrical and instrumentation
- Mining Industry knowledge preferable
- 10 - 15 Years experience in the construction or related fields
- PMP. Civil / Structural Engineering Degree or equivalent thereof
