Our client, one of the Worlds largest and highest valued semiconductor chip makers is looking for a Backend Web Developer for their Hillsboro, OR location.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Tasked with developing a cloud hosted predictive analytics service for IT infrastructure management.
Building a web API, ingesting and maintaining 100s of TBs of application instrumentation data.
An internal database to handle high performance queries.
A service that incorporates machine learning algorithms.
Support IT system admins, internal machine learning engineers, and internal domain experts who analyze performance data.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Experience implementing web services with node.js, express.js, mongodb, amazon AWS services (s3, ec2, cloudfront, kinesis).
Web front end dev skills using jquery, bootstrap and/or angular, d3.js or similar charting/graphics libraries.
Experience developing on ubuntu, centos or amazon linux.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Logstash, elastic search, kibana, graphite.
Automation with bash, gnu parallel or similar tools such as ansible, puppet, chef etc.
Python, ipython, matplotlib, scikit-learn
