Job Description
*****This is an Electronics technician position specializing in avionics and aerospace technology****

Constructs, maintains, and tests electrical systems and components. Uses measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify electronic parts. Ensures systems and components meet established specifications. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.


Requirements:
•Two year degree, diploma or certificate in the study of ELECTRONICS from a tech school, college or university
•Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
Experience with receivers, transmitters, power supplies and microprocessors.
•Ability to troubleshoot them to the component level
Basic electronics test equipment training
•Experience with an oscilliscope
•Experience with a spectrum analyzer and signal generators a PLUS
