TRUSS BUILDER
Position is responsible for assembling cut material into floor and roof trusses to specification. The position may also be responsible for pulling plates, stacking of finished product, banding and marking materials, and pushing product on carts to appropriate area. Position reports to section Lead person and Shop Foreman.
LUMBER CATCHER/STACKER
Position is responsible for material handling on the off-load side of a component saw, conducts quality checks for cutting accuracy, stacks and loads cut lumber onto shop carts, bands the material, marks the order, and moves the lumber to next staging area. Position is also responsible for maintaining organization and cleanliness of the saw areas.
LUMBER FETCH/PULLER
Position is responsible for locating and selecting lumber grade and length in accordance with the specifications and pick lists, then positioning material in the specified staging area such as infeed decks and storage racks. Position is also responsible for maintaining organization and cleanliness of the yard.
Looking for candidates with previous construction skills, but willing to train the the right "Hands On" candidate that likes physical labor and getting a workout.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Previous forklift experience is helpful. Not required.
