We are searching for a Human Resources Assistant, for a fast-paced work environment. This important role supports the staff of the Human Resources Department by performing the following tasks:
Maintain HR database and electronic timekeeping.
Create, compose, and prepare HR reports, announcements and job postings.
Assist in Web Hire applicant reporting.
Track and prepare EEO reports and files; prepare and update employee files.
Fax, copy and mail documents.
Maintain building security and badge system.
Answer phones, coordinate meetings and training presentations.
Assist with interview schedules and employee events.
Maintain office organization.
Code invoices for payment.
Order supplies, and equipment.
Effectively interact with Senior Staff; as well as, employees at all levels and the general public.
Cover reception desk as needed.
Requirements for this opportunity:
Bilingual in Spanish/English is required. Associate Degree preferred. College-level course work in Human Resources, Business or related field desirable.
2-3 years of progressively responsible administrative support experience preferably in a Human Resources environment.
Strong organizational skills; proficient computer skills in Word, Lotus Notes, Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with HRIS system. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Detail oriented and organized. Highly flexible with work demands. Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; as well as, the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment. Exercise mature judgment and maintain strict confidentiality in highly sensitive areas. Strong people skills.
