Project Manager The project manager will provide leadership on projects including development of business solutions, and will oversee the various phases of the project life-cycle. 2. NATURE and SCOPE/PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES.
Responsible for the successful completion of projects assigned while meeting desired goals on project metrics including budget, scope, schedule and quality. Provides project leadership and/or technical guidelines to the team. Establishes goals and task assignments. Develops project plans, time and resource estimates, and sets priorities within the team using appropriate tools and processes. Provides instruction; directs and monitors progress. May make recommendations with respect to personnel actions (e.g. hiring, performance evaluation). Involved with project and resource coordination with other project team leaders and managers. Effectively communicates with business sponsors, business unit subject matter experts, architecture group, infrastructure teams and other IT functions to successfully complete projects. Ensures completeness of requirements received from the project team. Ensures compliance with architectural and process standards and guidelines including production of design specifications, test plans, change management procedures, and project sign-offs. 3. KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, EXPERIENCE and MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED.. Minimum Requirements o Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in business or IT related field. o 6 years project management and planning skills, including familiarity with Microsoft project. o 2 years involvement with application development, including team leadership experience. o Good oral and written communication skills. o Time management, planning, and organizing skills. o Entrepreneur, problem solver, self-starter, aggressively committed to meeting objectives, with a proven ability to deal with ambiguity. o History of embracing and encouraging change. o Experience working in a matrix environment. o Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities o Ability to work on several projects concurrently. Preferred o PMP certified.
