Title: Production shift supervisor

Scope of Position: Support the plant production by providing training to the operator

Responsibility and Authority

• Supervise shift operation of assigned production units
• Ensure manufacturing procedures are followed and quality standards are maintained
• Support and maintain a training system to ensure production personnel are properly performing the tasks they are assigned
• Work with the leadership team to improve procedures and processes to reduce scrap and rework. Encourage employees to participate in the continuous improvement process
• Maintain good attendance and work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks. Must be available for daily inter-shift production briefing
• Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists employees in solving work problems
• Maintain a safe work environment by making sure that all safety rules are allowed
• Coordinating with maintenance department for any break down of plant equipment
• Operating and maintaining waste water disposal operation if properly trained
• Responsible for plant start up as well as plant shut down
• Carry out all other work assignment given by Plant Manager.

Knowledge and Skills

• Experience in a multi-shift production environment
• Good technical writing and verbal communication skills required. Fluent in English both verbal and written.
• Team player, self motivated, able to think and resolve issues
