Job Description
Cox Communications is looking for a customer-focused Senior Solutions Specialist to be the primary point of contact for both new and existing customers. As a Senior Solutions Specialist, this individual will be working in a Cox Solutions Store guiding customers through the purchase decision and activation process of Cox product offerings (cable, data and voice). This individual will function as a lead member of the sales team and set the standard for sales performance.

Reporting to the Store Manager, this role is responsible for meeting established personal sales objectives while modeling outstanding customer service skills and encouraging a similar store experience for all customers. The Senior Solutions Specialist will be provided learning opportunities to stay abreast of the rapidly evolving Cox products and services and is expected to translate how device capabilities address various customer needs. To be successful in this role, this individual should have an aptitude for sensing and responding to various consumer types and model this behavior for other Solutions Specialists.

In addition to customer service responsibilities, this individual plays a key role in maximizing sales and profitability by focusing on key business initiatives, store merchandising, marketing execution, inventory management, and loss prevention. Additional operational duties may include acting as manager on duty when necessary and completion of paperwork and sales reports as they relate to store opening and closing activities.

Primary Responsibilities
Solution Sales and Marketing
Grow the business through ensuring individual sales targets are met and motivating Solution Specialists to meet similar goals

Execute marketing promotions and campaigns designed to increase brand equity and achieve sales objectives

Promote Quality Customer Experience
Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing customers through exhibiting best-in-class customer service skills

Aid customers in completing purchases and resolving issues

Create a positive experience for customers through ensuring the sales floor remain visually appealing

Assist with sales floor up-keep, store cleanliness, sales floor inventory counts and stock replenishment

Solution Education
Clearly explain and illustrate product and service capabilities

Build customer loyalty through strategically offering product suggestions to solve customers wants and show customers how to meet their needs with Cox products

Continuously expand knowledge of trends in communications and current Cox services and products

Store Manager Support
Strategically negotiate and resolve customer issues and conflicts, escalating appropriately

Provide guidance, training, and assistance to other members of the sales team.

Support management through opening and closing store and assisting with general administrative duties, as requested

Minimum Requirements
High School diploma, GED, or relevant experience
2-5 year of retail sales experience
Must have reliable, consistent transportation and ability to work at a variety of retail locations
Proven and consistent track record of achieving established sales targets is required
Eligible to work in the United States
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds to help manage stock room inventory
Ability to be mobile within the store for long periods of time to greet and assist customers

Preferred Qualifications
Willingness to work a flexible schedule which includes weekends, evenings, and holidays
Business acumen and working knowledge of the communications industry as well as current and emerging technologies is very beneficial
Prior customer service or retail supervisory experience
Prior team leadership or supervisory experience
Cash handling and billing system experience preferred
Computer literacy
