Senior Associate - Procurement (7484BR) New York, New York

This is a key role on the Corporate Services Procurement Team responsible for managing procurement activity related to IT.

Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Work closely with internal customers to develop and execute sourcing strategies for all transactions
- Negotiate related contracts from a business, technical and contractual perspective, translating functional requests into contract specifications
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams as needed for large technology sourcing projects
- Utilize company's sourcing tools and methodologies, including RFIs and RFPs
- Perform in-depth financial analyses of procurement proposals and develop recommendations presented to senior management
- Develop and nurture vendor relationships
-Perform appropriate due diligence on vendors according to the risk of the transaction and relationship
- Interface with many areas throughout the company, including corporate information, security, finance, corporate counsel, accounts payable, business areas and technical areas

- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of procurement experience with at least 3 of those years directly involved with technology procurement and negotiations
- Ability to understand complex technology solutions
- Strong contract, negotiation and strategic sourcing skills
- Excellent analytical and financial skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong computer and database skills

Must be able to work with a high degree of independence, but reviews/discusses plans of action with manager before executing
