Continuous Improvement Production Engineer
A leading plastics manufacturer is currently looking for a Continuous Improvement Production Engineer to add to their successful team.
Based from their site in Oxfordshire, the Continuous Improvement Production Engineer will be focused on increasing the company’s manufacturing capability. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced Continuous improvement development engineer to help drive CI culture within the business.
You will be involved in:
* Identifying and implementing improvement projects to help deliver sales growth and margin
* To work with machine design and manufacturing companies in the development of key production and process equipment.
* Preparation of capital investment proposals including technical and financial justification.
Manage the delivery of capital and improvement projects to agreed time scales and budgets.
* To champion continuous improvement
You will:
* Be of graduate level or have relevant experience to that kind of level.
* Have experience in a plastics manufacturing environment.
* Have experience in machine / process design and the management of external design engineers
* Experience of implementing CI projects and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
* Proven project management experience and experience in preparing and review of capital expenditure proposals and presenting them.
