Castle Hospitality and Cleaning division are looking for both full and part time qualified lifeguards who are keen and passionate about life-guarding. The role involves keeping members and guests safe at all times. This is a key role that required constant supervision of the poolside to look after the health and safety of all members. You will be responsible for ensuring all swimmers are safe as well as enjoying interacting with both adults and children whilst on duty, to offer the best experience possible. There will also be an aspect of cleaning to ensure both pool side and changing areas are kept clean and tidy as well as ensuring the pool is frequently dip checked and recorded.
Responsibilities
- Rotating with other lifeguard to sit pool side an ensure all swimmers and safe at all times
- Provide resuscitation, first aid and general assistance when needed in line with company procedures.
- To offer great customer service at all times and promote offers and products that the leisure centre provides
- To oversee general behaviour and safety to prevent injuries
- To keep the pool side clean at all times
- To check changing facilities regularly to keep all public areas clean
- To carry out basic maintenance and health and safety checks.
Requirements
- NPLQ qualification is essential
- Worked in a life-guarding role previously
- Confident speaking with customers
- Personable, friendly and can do attitude
