£7.79- £15.58 an hour

The role is fast paced and based in a food manufacturing environment. As a Fork Lift Truck driver, you will be required to:

  • Hold a valid FLT Counterbalance licence (RTITB or equivalent) Renewed within last 3 years.
  • Must have had experience driving an FLT within a warehouse/stores environment
  • Ideally you will be available to start work immediately
  • Manually handling goods when necessary.

The Client

Our client is a well-established and growing food manufacturer of pre-packed and chilled food products based in Malton and are seeking Production Operatives to join its expanding team.

The business partners directly with many well-known retailers to design, cook and package quality food products. Every day, they cook upwards of 150,000 delicious ready meals based on around 200 different recipes and counting and developing new ones all the time in partnerships with their customers. Their range includes: chilled and ambient ready meals; British, Chinese, Indian, Italian and Vegetarian cuisines, gluten and dairy free products, vegetable accompaniments, sauces and toddler food.

These are genuine temporary to permanent positions for the right candidate on completion of a successful probationary period. In return, you will receive a salary of £7.79 per hour and Overtime: up to £15.58 per hour.
