Castle hospitality and cleaning division are looking for 2-3 catering assistants to join a friendly and diverse team to ensure all catering needs are fully met. This is a part time position working around 20 - 30 hours a week based in Scarborough. There will be some weekend work required but this will be done on a rota'd basis and offers excellent weekend rates.
Job Description
To assist in the preparation and serving of food to customers
To work closely with the chef and catering staff including basic cooking duties, pot washing and helping to keep the kitchen tidy.
To cut veg, make sandwiches and assist with hot food preparation
To clear and clean tables in a time manner ensuring they are free spaces for the next customer
To serve customers in a friendly but timely way offering the best customer service
To maintain cleanliness to a high standard of all the catering areas.
Requirements
A DBS is highly beneficial but not essential
Previous experience working in a kitchen is beneficial but not essential
Great customer service
A strong hospitality background
