Castle Hospitality & Cleaning division are recruiting for Kitchen Assistant for our client based on the outskirts of Whitby. 

The Head Chef is seeking an enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to work with their growing team and who will share their passion for cooking with fresh, seasonal produce gathered from the local region wherever possible.  In this role you will be joining a team of chefs working in the kitchen and will be expected to move between the sections depending on where you are needed to work.  This role will be helping with basic food preparation and working on the pot wash area. 

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have previous basic food preparation experience and be prepared to work in the pot wash area with an incentive to progress into a chef career.  The ability to adapt to working on different sections is essential.

You will be required to work on a rota shift pattern including some weekends.
