Castle Industrial & Construction are recruiting on behalf of a growing successful engineering company based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire is seeking a number of Fabricator / Plater Welders to join their expanding team on the day shift

The company is a global leader in engineering steel solutions and has won Platinum Awards for their model work.

As the Fabricator / Plater Welder your duties will include:

  • Working on the structural steel engineering projects from: 8mm-150mm thickness/3m to 26m length – up to 20 tonne, in the main fabrication workshop.

To be a successful Plater / Fabricator Welder you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Qualified in engineering / welding / fabrication;
  • Experience of working on structural steel / heavy engineering projects;
  • Possess relevant steel fabrication experience from a heavy structural engineering background;
  • Possess the ability to read drawings;
  • Previous experience in plating / fabricating and welding.

The working hours will Monday to Thursday: 08.00am -04.30pm Friday 08.00am - 12 Noon

In return you will receive a salary £11.80 per hour and overtime £15.73ph to £17.70ph
