Castles Hospitality and Catering division are looking for a confident team leader that prides themselves going the extra mile working in the restaurant in a beautiful hotel based Whitby. This is a permanent role with hours throughout the year. As a front of house team leader you need excellent customer service and enjoy working in a fact paced environment, participating in serving awarding winning food to a high standard.

Duties 

  • Ensuring staff are happy, aware of what tables they are covering and helping to train them to a high standard.
  • Handling complaints from both customers and staff
  • Working as part of the team in the restaurant to serve food and ensure all customers are happy.
  • Ensuring all staff are working efficiently and helping to delegate duties. 
  • Being a station leader during large events such as weddings to help to day run smoothly. 
  • Report any feedback, both good and bad to management

 

Requirements 

  • Previous experience in a team leader or supervisor role is advantageous or someone that is keen to go the extra mile and step up to the challenge. 
  • Excellent customer service
  • Previous experience working in the hospitality sector ideally in a hotel or a restaurant
  • Being a hands on team leader, ensuring you work along side staff to give the best customer service possible
  • Report any feedback or issues to management
  • Happy to work some evening and weekends
