We are looking for a candidate that has experience in the catering or the hotel industry. This role is a varied role so you must be flexible and adaptable, and willing to go the extra mile. This is an award winning hotel that is looking for an experienced and dedicated individual committed to achieving and delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • To manage the kitchen, ensuring food is going out in a timely manner, and the quality and standard is to a high standard.
  • Ensuring all areas of front of house are managed properly e.g customers receiving great service, tables cleared ready for next customers etc
  • Answering email/phone enquiries quickly and providing a comprehensive reception experience including check in to check out ensuring a great experience for all guests.
  • Covering the reception when required ensuring all hotel paperwork is completed and ready for the next shifts
  • Counting tills and balancing up on an evening
  • Locking up
  • Managing your shift efficiently to ensure the smooth running of the hotel
  • Being available to your shift team members when the owners and Manager aren’t present to answer queries or deal with customers.
  • Checking quality of rooms, food and public areas to ensure everything is to an award winning level.

Experience

  • Must have supervisor or managerial experience either is a hospitality, catering or the hotel industry.
  • Must be looking to stay in the role for a minimum of two years
  • Live in experience would be advantageous
  • The willingness to go the extra mile
