PArt time 20-30 hours
Castle Hospitality and Cleaning division are looking for an assistant chef/cook in a country pub/restaurant that provides high quality locally produced food based in a beautiful location, on the outskirts of Scarborough. This is a part time position of 20-30 hours that includes evenings and weekend work. The finish will be no later than 10pm on a weekend and earlier on a week day.
Main Duties
Supporting the chef in the kitchen with both prepare before service and cooking during service
You will be responsible for food preparation such as salads, starters and deserts
You will also be required to cook food during service at times such as steaks, eggs and working the grill
Helping to keep the kitchen tidy and clean at all times.
Requirements
To have had previous experience in a kitchen and being aware of food hygiene and food safety
To have experience using fresh produce
To be able to work evenings and weekends
To drive - due to location
