Castle Industrial & Construction are recruiting on behalf of a growing successful engineering company based in the York area who are seeking a number of Fabricator / Plater Welders to join their expanding team on the day shift
As the Fabricator / Plater Welder your duties will include:
- Working on the structural steel engineering projects from: 8mm-150mm thickness/3m to 26m length – up to 20 tonne, in the main fabrication workshop.
To be a successful Plater / Fabricator Welder you will have the following skills and experience:
- Qualified in engineering / welding / fabrication;
- Experience of working on structural steel / heavy engineering projects;
- Possess relevant steel fabrication experience from a heavy structural engineering background;
- Possess the ability to read drawings;
- Previous experience in plating / fabricating and welding.
- Ideally worked to a coded level within structural steel
The working hours will Monday to Thursday: 08.00am - 5.30pm Friday 08.00am - 4.00pm
In return, you will receive £11.50 per hour and overtime £14.95 per hour
