Assistant Front of House Manager

We are recruiting for an Assistant Front of House Manager based in York area, North Yorkshire area on a permanent full-time contract. The successful applicant will be managing all aspects of the Front of House reception and front of house staff.  Competitive Salary and parking available.  This position is full-time hours working in a rota 5 days over 7, including some weekend.

You will be an excellent motivator and leader, with a focus on guest satisfaction and have Front of House Supervisor or Assistant Manager experience in a high-pressured busy environment.

Location: York, North Yorkshire

Responsibilities:

The role involves being responsible for all aspects of the management and administration of the Front of House desk and you will be expected to have hands-on involvement in serving customers and making sure the operation is run smoothly and safely.

You will be required to work 5 days over 7 including weekends.

  • Manage Front Desk Operations & Supervision of related Front Office areas
  • Guest Relations
  • Manage on Duty Functions
  • Staff Rota’s
  • Dealing with customer queries
  • Front Office experience preferred
  • Confident to manage a team, including, coaching, training, employee relations matters
  • Reception experience/knowledge
  • Strong communicator
  • Opera or similar front office system knowledge
