THE POSITION:
Castle Hospitality division are recruiting for an Experienced Chef Cuisine for a local unique hospitality client based in the Whitby, North Yorkshire area. The successful Chef is responsible for the running of the kitchen, menu’s and ordering of stock. Our client is looking for a competent Chef with ideally experience in Middle Eastern Cuisine. Training can be given in these area’s for the ideal candidate who has Chef experience and are looking for a challenge in the beautiful seaside location of Whitby.
Responsibilities:
• You must be able to demonstrate and create exciting menus to help compete with local competition.
• Produce high quality food every service.
• The ability to motivate and develop existing kitchen staff.
• Preferably you will have experience with a minimum of 60 covers per services.
• To ensure all compliance with food hygiene, health and safety and cleanliness of the kitchen and stores areas.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
• Proven Chef experience in an established restaurant.
• Middle Eastern Cuisine experience preferred but not essential
• Average Covers 20/80
• Good Organiser and can lead a small team
