Bar Manager

We are recruiting for a Bar Manager for our unique hospitality client based in Whitby area, North Yorkshire on a permanent full-time contract. Competitive Salary £22,000 to £25,000pa, plus a bonus scheme, meals on duty, discount on products and free parking available.  This position is full-time hours working in a rota 5 days over 7, including some weekends.

You will be an excellent motivator with Supervisor or Management experience, with a focus on guest satisfaction and have bar manager experience in a busy environment.

Location: Whitby, North Yorkshire

Responsibilities:

The role involves being responsible for all aspects of the Bar and staff when on duty.  Management and administration of the venue and you will be expected to have hands-on involvement in serving customers and making sure the operation is run smoothly and safely.

You will be required to work 5 days over 7 including weekends.

• Manage Bar & Staff
• Ordering Stock
• Hands-on within the Bar when required
• Strive to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction
• Training Staff
• Staff Rota’s
• Dealing with customer queries
• Confident to manage a team, including, coaching, training, employee relations matters
• Strong communicator

THE REQUIREMENTS:

• Supervisor or Management Bar Experience within Hospitality environment preferred
• Confident admin skills
• Strong communicator (verbal, listening and writing)
• Well organised and self-motivated
• A leader and team player
• Innovative
